Thanksgiving Day
Almost all shops are closed in the day. Convenience stores and fast food restaurants which always open all the day is also closed or open till noon. Almost all people have no school and work.The president gives an amnesty to a turkey the day before thanksgiving day every year at the White house. This is to thank and atone for the turkey which is eaten by people in the day. The turkey given an amnesty isn't eaten, it is sent to a farm, and lives happily.
